I have an assignment about platypus and how scientists ideas had changed based on new technology and information in the last 200 years. I have already searched on google and I got the general idea about it, but I need more specific information abou t timelines and evidences that changes scientist’s ideas(such as “date of discovery”, “the person who made the discovery” , “the discovery” and “the technology that was used”.

What are some examples of new technology, procedures, and theories about atoms and atomic structure?

While most industries have been affected by the development of new technologies, the real estate industry has been turned on its head thanks to the introduction of new technologies.

This was once a very personal business where referrals could make or break an agent’s career. A client would be dependent on their agent for information about property values, market trends, and current inventory available in their local market. If a client had a question for his agent, he would have to leave a message at the agent’s office and wait around for a reply. Depending on the number of other clients the agent had, the client could be kept waiting for a very long time.

This waiting game could be a very frustrating experience for proactive buyers and sellers who wanted to be in the know when it comes to handling the biggest investment of their lives. Fortunately, new technology has made the real estate industry much more accessible to the average person.

Cellular phones have had a huge impact on the real estate industry. Rather than sitting around playing phone tag with your agent, you can now reach them directly, and leave a message where they will be sure to get it. Communications are sped up and made more effective, meaning that much less time is wasted, and misunderstandings are less likely to occur.

Another benefit of the cell phone is that real estate agents are always in touch with their offices as well as with other agents. This means that they are on top of local market activities such as when a hot new property enters the market. Buyers who want to make an offer on a home can also get their bids on the table as quick as possible. The real estate market is always in flux, and cell phones enable agents and clients to roll better with the punches.

The internet has changed the way buyers, sellers, and realtors do business. Internet search technology is continually improving, making it easier for searchers to find relevant information in a short amount of time.

Buyers can search online MLS databases to view homes from all around the country. Sellers can have their homes featured on their agent’s homepage as well as on online databases. This has been an excellent development for clients because they can see examples of what they like, what price ranges are out there, and the availability of homes in their market area.

Some argue that because clients are able to locate properties on the internet, that real estate agents’ value will decrease. What is important to keep in mind is the fact that real estate agents provide a much greater service than simply providing a list of available properties on the market. While you may be able to find homes on the internet on your own, not every available property will be on all of the databases. Your agent will have inside info and can pare down the house search for you. They also navigate the many other issues that are involve with buying or selling a home. The internet has not changed the need for good quality agents in the least.

Blogging is a great tool for real estate agents. With such a focus on online technologies, the real estate industry can lose some of the personal interaction that was once such an integral part of the industry. Blogging can change that. By writing a blog for their websites, realtors are able to share their opinions, prompt discussions, and show a bit of their personality. This can be invaluable in showing potential clients why they should hire you. Also, it is of benefit for you personally, as you are able to express yourself and network with other real estate professionals.

While some people believed that the internet was going to spell the end for real estate agents, this has not come to fruition. In fact, the real estate industry is continuing to thrive. For agents who are willing to go with the flow and adjust to the changing technologies, both clients and agents can benefit.

With everything getting more technologically advanced every day, and considering we have come such a long way with technology, could there ever come a time where new technology stops, and we meet a point where it is too advanced to make progress?

And this is considering that a catastrophic event doesn’t occur and wipe out current civilization, bring us back thousands of years.

I am guessing it will probably never end, but I would like to hear your opinions.

Introduction

In the recent past, crime has been moving from the normal stealing of goods and is now heading towards obtaining information through technology. The use of computers to undertake sensitive assignments is gaining popularity among modern scientists and researchers. This has been propelled by the invention of high tech softwares which can perform processes which emulate the natural process of creation.

The application

The application for a patent on new technology involving the use of advanced computers to create a new type of organism is acceptable in Law but the activity of creating a new type of organism using the computers is questionable. Casti (1997) posed the question of whether these creations are “curiosities” or have actual biological relevance. This and other concerns have made Governments and leading researchers question the ability of science to match the natural process of creation.

The interaction between the law and modern technology is complex. As technology continues to advance over decades, the laws directed between human and technological relationships should remain neutral (Brenner 2007).Further she asserts that older technologies rely on human implementation while future smart technologies will be automated.

The pace at which technology is advancing needs to be matched equally with changes in our legislations. The Computer misuse Act (1990) only identifies crimes associated with the use of existing computer applications and softwares but is silent on the use of modern technology to genetically modify organisms.However,the process of artificial creation is based on trial and error and in many instances, the original idea turns out to be the side effect of the final product.

The debate on modification of organisms has generated a lot of controversy and mixed reactions from nations. The USA, Australia and New Zealand have all passed legislations prohibiting modification of organisms or use of genetically modified organisms while in Canada and Zambia the laws have not been passed. In many African countries the debate on the modification and or the use of modified organisms is still ongoing with the relevant Governments still un decided on the course to take.

This delay in decision making might give researchers an opportunity to undertake comprehensive research on modification of organisms.Willams (2006) asserted that it is very important to have online social/cultural formations in the genesis and regulation of cyber deviance and crime as the internet is a site of social and cultural production.

Conclusion

This application is both a violation of the law, a deviant act. By seeking to undertake this assignment, the doctor is not only violating the law but also taking advantage of technological advancement to bring to the market products which have questionable production standards.Further, the ability of the organisms to match the natural ones has been challenged by many researchers and Governments.

It is also worth noting that the legality of the application will vary from country to country depending on the laws of the specific land. Therefore, there is an urgent need to review laws regarding modification of organisms across the world in order to keep pace with the ever changing technology.
