I heard there was a new technology where they can record sound after u leave the room, is this true?

Well, I have no doubt in my mind that what you describe can be done, and probably has. I have personally experienced, and evaluated with conventional signal detection/recording device, projected sound that appeared to defy the natural laws of physics. The sound was a tone of specific frequency isolated sharply within the framework of an 8′ X 8′ X 3′ area. The pickup microphone would detect the tone frequency within that area but just slightly outside that area, the mic picked up nothing. Put the mic back into the said area only an inch or so, and the mic then picked up the tone again. I used the recording device to determine the physical dimensions that the tone sound was isolated in.
I have no idea how or why that specific phenomena occurred, but it did, and instrumentation indicated that it was a true effect.
The phenomena remained in the exact same place for 2 or 3 days, and then was gone.
Not kidding you in the least.
